I'm not sure, but I think the cost of information would be things like the hardware, software, and personnel needed to manage and analyze the data, not the costs of using that information to improve business strategies.
Hmm, I feel like the cost of information would be more related to the maintenance and storage of data, not things like marketing or product design. Those are more costs of business operations.
