Option B, .exe? I guess you could try to run the network capture as a program, but I'm pretty sure that's not going to work. Unless you want to turn your Wireshark into a malware detector, I'd stick with .pcap.
I bet the correct answer is Option D, .pcap. It's the file format that Wireshark uses, and it's the industry standard for network traffic analysis. Anything else would be like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
Option C, .tgz? What is this, a compressed Linux archive? I'm pretty sure that's not what we're looking for here. Definitely going with Option D, .pcap.

Option D seems the most logical choice. Wireshark is a popular network analysis tool, and .pcap is the standard file format it uses to capture and analyze network traffic.
