Option A sounds interesting, but I'm not sure how well installing the appliance on a SPAN port would work in practice. Might be a bit of a hack. I'd probably go with B to play it safe.
D is definitely not correct. A Check Point Security Gateway is not always required, as the question clearly states that this is just for email traffic and in-line mode.
Hmm, I'm not sure about C. Using only Check Point Cloud Services doesn't sound like it would provide the necessary in-line functionality. I'd lean towards Option B as well.
Option B seems like the most straightforward approach. Setting up the TE250X in standalone mode and configuring it as an MTA seems like a simple solution.
