Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

Understanding Self-Nomination for Resource Requests

PSA allows resources to express interest in upcoming projects using the Self-Nomination feature.

This feature can be enabled through a Custom Setting, which then allows the 'PSA Resource Self-Nomination' Lightning component to be used.

How to Enable Self-Nomination for Resource Requests

Step 1: Navigate to Setup in Salesforce.

Step 2: Search for Custom Settings and select it.

Step 3: Find and enable 'Self-Nominate for Resource Request'.

Step 4: Open the Lightning App Builder and edit the Resource Request Detail Page.

Step 5: Add the 'PSA Resource Self-Nomination' Lightning component to the page.

Step 6: Save and activate the page.

Why This Works?

The 'Self-Nominate for Resource Request' setting allows resources to nominate themselves for work using the Lightning component.

By adding this component to the Resource Request Detail Page, eligible resources can easily apply for available projects.

I thought the self-nomination feature was tied to the Lightning Home page, but now I'm second-guessing if that's the right place for it.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think option A sounds right since it mentions the correct component for self-nomination.

I feel like we practiced a similar question, and I remember the Lightning component needs to be on the Resource Request Detail Page.

I think we need to enable a custom setting for self-nomination, but I can't remember which one it is.

Wait, is it the "PSA Resource Self-Nomination" component or the "PSA Self-Nomination" component? I want to make sure I get this right.

Okay, I'm feeling pretty confident about this. I just need to remember to enable the "Self-Nominate for Work" custom setting and add the "PSA Self-Nomination" component to the Project Detail Page.

Hmm, I'm a bit confused. Is it the "Self-Nominate for Resource Request" setting or the "Candidates Can Self-Nominate for Work" setting? I'll need to double-check the details.

I think I've got this one. The key is to enable the right custom setting and add the appropriate Lightning component to the right page.

C is interesting, but I'm not sure why we'd want to add it to the Project Detail Page. Seems a bit off-target.
