In which two (2) locations should an administrator install the Symantec Installation Manager to facilitate the installation of IT Management Suite 8.1 on the target Notification Server? (Select two.)
Shouldn't the Symantec Installation Manager just, you know, install itself? I mean, that's what it's designed for, right? This exam question is clearly trying to trick us.
Ah, the joys of IT certifications. Where else can you be asked to install software on a server... that doesn't have internet access? Talk about a real-world scenario!
Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. A and E sound like the obvious choices, but I could see an argument for B as well. Maybe I should just flip a coin and hope for the best.
I think A and B are the way to go. You need it on the Notification Server for offline installs, and on another server to remotely manage the installation. Anything else is just overkill.
The correct answers are A and E. Installing the Symantec Installation Manager on the Notification Server itself (C) doesn't make sense, as it's the target server. And installing it on a desktop (D) is just weird.
