Actual exam question for Blue Prism's ASD01 exam
Question #: 20
Topic #: 3

Imagine a DR scenario where the main Production database goes down one afternoon. All processes use work queues and all new work is loaded first thing each morning. The database is backed up regularly but not in real time, so the restored back up will be slightly out of date, say by 1 hour. If the backup was restored, and processes were restarted what would be the effect? (select 2 responses)

Not sure about that, I thought it would auto-handle exceptions.

Agree, the processes won't just pick up where they left off.

Wait, so the backup is an hour old? That's a bit risky!

I think the queue item being worked at the time would need to be manually marked as an exception.

The processes would definitely resume with the next available queue item.

I feel like the work queue should prevent duplication, but I’m a bit confused about whether it does that automatically or if we have to check for it manually.

From what I studied, if the backup is restored, the processes would definitely not resume with the item being worked on at the time of the incident.

I think we practiced a similar question where the queue item being worked on was marked as an exception, but I can't recall if it was automatic or manual.

I remember discussing how processes typically resume with the next available queue item after a restart, but I'm not entirely sure if that applies here.

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure about this. I'll need to double-check the requirements and make sure I'm not overlooking anything. Better to be safe than sorry on the exam.

I've got a good strategy for this. I'll eliminate the options that don't seem to match the WSDL 1.1 specification, and then choose the best remaining answer.

This seems like a straightforward financial statement question. I'll focus on the key information provided - revenue and resources used. The statement of operations looks like the best option to capture that.
