BCS TAE Exam - Topic 12 Question 19 Discussion

Actual exam question for BCS's TAE exam
Question #: 19
Topic #: 12
[All TAE Questions]

A TAS uses a commercial test automation tool and the default logs generated by the inconsistent formats such as different types of messages (pass/fail steps, screenshots, warnings, etc.) To solve this issue some custom logging functions have been created from the test scripts, making it possible to log the different types of messages with the same format. However, this may cause a problem due to excessive size of the logs which can make it difficult to find the required information. Assume that all the default logs will be disabled when running the automated tests and that some tests will not generate excessively sized logs.

Which of the following represents the BEST suggestion for implementing the custom logging functions?

I’d go with B as well. Consistency in logs is key!

Option D could be useful too, but it might complicate things.

Surprised that timestamps aren't considered essential. How will we track events?

I think option B is the best choice. Different tracing levels are crucial.

I recall that not saving stack traces could lead to missing critical debugging information, so I don't think that's a good idea.

I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like redirecting logs to multiple files could help manage the size issue. It might make it easier to find specific information later.

I think we had a similar question about log management, and I remember that supporting different levels of tracing was emphasized as a best practice.

I remember we discussed the importance of having timestamps in logs during our last practice session. It really helps in tracking when issues occur.

Okay, I think I've got this. Using CMKs for Azure Storage blob containers is the way to go. That will let us control the encryption keys and rotate them on a monthly basis, which should satisfy the goal.

Hmm, I'm a little unsure about this one. I know how to use slicers, but I'm not totally confident on the steps to delete them. I'll have to think this through carefully.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. The options seem to cover a range of database-related tasks, but I'm not entirely confident which one is considered the "key" responsibility. I'll have to think this through carefully.

I think the bookmarks for clientless SSLVPN users might be set under the tunnel-group attributes. It seems like it was mentioned in our last class.
