Option A seems like overkill. Do we really need a global transition and multiple screens just to handle this requirement? I think Option C is the way to go.

The requirement to transition from any status except Approved sounds a bit strange. I wonder if the project lead has thought this through carefully.

I'm not sure why we need different transition screens for each transition into Awaiting Approval. Couldn't we just reuse the same screen for all of them?
