I feel like I’ve seen a similar question before, and low-pressure sodium was definitely the answer. It’s almost monochromatic, right?

I’m a bit confused; I thought incandescent lights were also poor for color rendition. Did we cover that in class?

I remember studying color rendition and how low-pressure sodium is often mentioned as having poor performance. I think that’s the one.

I think the answer might be low-pressure sodium since it’s known for that yellow light, but I’m not completely sure.

Ugh, I'm really struggling with this one. Lamp types and their properties are not my strong suit. I'm going to have to guess on this one and hope for the best.

Okay, let me see. I know incandescent and fluorescent lamps have better color rendition, so those are probably not the answer. Metal halide lamps have a broader spectrum, so that leaves low-pressure sodium as the most likely choice. I'll go with that.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know low-pressure sodium lamps emit a very narrow spectrum of light, but I can't quite remember how that affects color rendition. I'll have to think this through carefully.

This one seems pretty straightforward. I'm pretty confident the answer is low-pressure sodium lamps since they emit a monochromatic yellow light that would provide poor color rendition for a CCTV camera.

Low-pressure sodium lamps definitely emit a monochromatic yellow light. I remember learning about that in my lighting design course.
