Apple Learning confirms that administrators must download the server token from Apple Business Manager and upload it into the MDM solution. This token provides the secure connection between ABM and MDM, allowing purchased licenses to sync and be assigned to devices or users. Content tokens and distribution tokens are not valid terms for this process. Without the server token, new purchases will not appear in the MDM portal, and apps cannot be assigned.
