Based on my experience, I believe the correct answer is D - the package is used in the running configuration. The install commit command applies the package changes without requiring a full switch reboot.

I'm a little confused by the wording here. Does "up to the point where the water evaporates quickly" mean the corrosion rate would stay the same after that point? I'm not sure, so I'll have to guess on this one.
