Okay, I think I've got this. The nsswitch.conf file is used to tell the C library where to look for different types of system information, like host names and user passwords. It's a way to configure how the system handles those lookups. I'm feeling pretty confident about that.

A, B, and D are the correct ad formats. C must be a trick question - I've never heard of a 'menu ad' before. Maybe it's a new format where you have to place your order before seeing the ad?
