Amazon SAP-C02 Exam - Topic 6 Question 4 Discussion

Actual exam question for Amazon's SAP-C02 exam
Question #: 4
Topic #: 6
[All SAP-C02 Questions]

A solutions architect has developed a web application that uses an Amazon API Gateway Regional endpoint and an AWS Lambda function. The consumers of the web application are all close to the AWS Region where the application will be deployed. The Lambda function only queries an Amazon Aurora MySQL database. The solutions architect has configured the database to have three read replicas.

During testing, the application does not meet performance requirements. Under high load, the application opens a large number of database connections. The solutions architect must improve the application's performance.

Which actions should the solutions architect take to meet these requirements? (Choose two.)

RDS Proxy sounds like a game changer for this scenario!

Wait, why would you change the API Gateway endpoint? Seems unnecessary.

I think D could help too, but not sure if it's enough.

I don't think changing the API Gateway to an edge-optimized endpoint will help with database connections, but I could be wrong.

I practiced a similar question where moving the database connection outside the event handler improved performance. That might be a good option too.

I'm a bit unsure about RDS Proxy. I think it helps with connection pooling, but I can't recall if it's necessary for this scenario.

I remember discussing the importance of using the cluster endpoint for Aurora to balance the load across replicas. That seems like a solid choice here.

Okay, I think I've got this. Based on the description, Ted was likely depicting security use cases to identify potential attack scenarios. That seems like the most relevant activity here.

This question seems straightforward, but I want to make sure I understand the key concepts around checkpoint/restart procedures before selecting an answer.

Ah, I remember learning about SSL profiles in Citrix - that's got to be the answer here.

I'm a little confused on how to approach this. Do I need to consider the dual uplinks for the hubs separately, or just the total number of connections? I want to make sure I understand the question fully before answering.
