Alright, time to channel my inner Linux guru! Let's see, 700 - that's the one where the owner can do the Macarena on the file while everyone else watches, right?

Is it just me, or does this question feel like a trick question? I mean, who actually uses 766 for anything? That's just asking for trouble.

777, baby! Why limit yourself when you can have total world domination over that file? Oh wait, that's not what they're looking for... *facepalm*

Hmm, 755 seems like a good option to give the owner full control while still allowing read access for everyone else. But I guess 700 is the more restrictive choice.

That makes sense, thanks for explaining. I'll go with 755 as well.

I disagree, I believe it should be 755 because the owner needs read, write, and execute permissions.

Ah, the classic octal permissions conundrum! This one's a no-brainer - gotta be 700 to lock it down for the owner only.

I think the correct octal number is 700.
