This seems like a straightforward question about intellectual property. I'm pretty confident I know the answer, but I'll double-check my notes just to be sure.
If I had a nickel for every time a database exam question tried to trick me, I'd have enough to buy a new hard drive. But I'm not falling for it this time!
Hold on, did someone just say 'relational databases'? I thought we were talking about how to relate to our databases on a personal level. Guess I misunderstood the assignment.
I agree with Marjory. Those databases are designed to store and manage data in tables with relationships between them, making them relational databases.
I think Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and SQL Server are relational databases because they use structured query language (SQL) to manage and manipulate data.
