I'm going with B. Anything else would be a bit too generous for a non-admin user. Although, I do wonder if the Alfresco developers have a good sense of humor. Maybe they'd throw in a Easter egg and return a fluffy dog instead!

I'm not sure, but I'm leaning towards D. It makes sense that a non-admin user would only be able to view the latest versions of the apps they have access to.
