This is a good question. I'm going to go with D for automation, and I think A for accommodating preferences is also a key element of an effective email management system.
I'm a bit confused about B and C. Retaining emails indefinitely and only focusing on financial employees' emails doesn't sound like a comprehensive strategy to me.
I think D is definitely a good one - automating actions to reduce the burden on users. And A could be helpful too, since people have different ways of organizing their inboxes.
Okay, I've got a few ideas. Automation and accommodating individual preferences seem important. But I'm not sure about the retention policy - indefinite retention might not be the best approach.
