C makes sense, but I’m surprised it’s not more popular!

Really? I always thought half squats worked the soleus too.

I think I read somewhere that seated ankle extensions with straight knees don't really hit the soleus, so I'm leaning towards C too.

I feel like standing heel raises could also work, but I can't recall if they isolate the soleus effectively.

I remember practicing seated heel raises, and I think those really focus on the soleus. So, I might go with C as well.

I think the soleus is targeted more when the knees are bent, so maybe it's C? But I'm not entirely sure.

Okay, I've got this. The soleus is the deeper calf muscle, so standing heel raises would work the gastrocnemius more. Seated heel raises with flexed knees is the way to go to isolate the soleus.

I'm a bit confused on this one. I know the soleus is part of the calf, but I'm not sure which exercise would work it the best. Guess I'll have to eliminate the options that don't seem quite right.

I'm pretty sure the seated ankle extensions with straight knees is the right answer. That really targets the soleus, doesn't it?

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'll need to think carefully about the anatomy and function of the soleus muscle to determine which exercise isolates it best.

I'm craving some seated heel raises with a side of bad puns. 'Sole'-ly the best option, if you ask me!

Half squats with external hip rotation? That's an odd one. I don't see how that would isolate the soleus. Sounds more like a glute exercise to me.

I'm gonna go with the seated heel raises with flexed knees. That seems like it would really target the soleus specifically.

Hmm, I think the seated ankle extensions with straight knees would be best for isolating the soleus. The standing heel raises might work too, but I'm not sure if that would also engage the gastrocnemius.
